Our story begins in 2022. Priyanka had just moved to Sydney and was looking for something new. Riley, encouraged by his mates, decided to give online dating a go. And somehow, against all odds, we found each other. What do you know! Even the apps can get it right from time to time.
For our first date, Riley suggested a friendly game of mini golf, which Priyanka agreed would be a great way to relax and get to know each other. But what she didn’t know was that Riley was already 10 minutes late and yet to make any kind of booking.
However, in true Riley style, there was no panic. We simply ‘went with the flow’ (though Priyanka may disagree). Instead, we stopped by a bar for a few drinks, and eventually made it back to mini golf just in time for their final slot. We may have never learnt the rules, but we did discover something truly special in each other that night.
One date soon turned to many, and before we knew it, a year had passed. We were already making plans to move in together, and just as quickly, two became four as we welcomed our new fur babies, Enzo and Coco, filling our lives with more love and fur than we knew how to deal with.
Fast forward to 2025 on the eve of Priyanka’s birthday, Riley planned a movie night that seemed completely ordinary. But as the opening credits rolled, the film suddenly cut to a video asking the big question. Priyanka said yes, and our next chapter officially began.
In March 2026, we made it official with an intimate registry wedding in Sydney. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate with all of you in Mumbai, where we’ll be getting married in the Catholic Church.
